Chicken Road is everywhere on TikTok: a chicken crosses the road, each lane raises the multiplier, a truck and you lose everything. It's a casino crash game (InOut Games), not Crossy Road or a store app.
Same logic as Aviator, in steps. Below: how it works, 3 ways to play we've tested, and where to launch it (Slott, Celsius, RingoSpin).
1. How to play Chicken Road
The principle is simple to understand in 4 steps:
- You place your bet — Between €0.10 and several hundred euros depending on the casino.
- The chicken moves forward automatically or on your click — Each lane crossed raises the displayed multiplier.
- You choose to "cash out" at any time — You collect your stake × the multiplier reached.
- If you continue and the chicken "gets hit" — Determined randomly on each lane, you lose your entire stake.
As with classic crash games, the outcome of each lane is determined by a Provably Fair algorithm, cryptographically verifiable. The "survival" rate decreases with every lane crossed, which mechanically raises the offered multiplier.
2. Difficulty levels
Most versions of Chicken Road offer several difficulty levels, which directly change your odds:
- Easy — High survival probability per lane (~94%), multipliers that rise slowly.
- Medium — ~85% survival probability per lane, more generous multipliers.
- Hard — ~70% survival probability per lane, multipliers that explode fast but very high risk.
3. Odds and RTP
Here's a simplified example of the multiplier progression in "Medium" mode:
| Lanes crossed | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1 | x1.15 |
| 3 | x1.85 |
| 5 | x3.10 |
| 8 | x7.50 |
| 12 | x22.00 |
The average observed RTP is 96 to 97% on the versions offered by our partner casinos, comparable to other crash games.
4. 3 strategies we tested
🛡️ Strategy 1 — The "Quick Cash" (2-3 lanes)
Risk: LOWYou systematically cash out after 2 or 3 lanes crossed, in "Easy" mode. With a success rate around 80%, you build up small, regular wins without ever aiming for the big multiplier.
⚖️ Strategy 2 — The "Fixed Target" (target multiplier)
Risk: MODERATEYou set a target multiplier before launching the round (e.g. x3.00) and cash out as soon as it's reached, never letting yourself be tempted to go further. Discipline matters more here than the game mechanics themselves.
🚀 Strategy 3 — The "All or Nothing" (hard mode)
Risk: VERY HIGHYou play in "Hard" mode and aim for x10+ multipliers. With a success rate that drops very fast, this approach should be reserved for very small stakes, as pure entertainment.
5. Bankroll and risk management
- Max stake 2% of your bankroll per round — Chicken Road is just as volatile as Aviator.
- Set a target multiplier before playing — Decide it beforehand, not while the chicken is moving.
- Session limited to 20-30 minutes — The fast pace of rounds (10-15 seconds) can quickly make you lose track of time.
6. Where to play Chicken Road
- Slott — 3 difficulty levels, stakes from €0.10
- Celsius — Round history shown, demo mode available
- RingoSpin — Stakes up to €500, one-click cash-out
